Bayern Munich have gone cold on the idea of signing Tom Huddlestone from Tottenham Hotspur.

The Allianz Arena club are planning a substantial summer spending spree as they bid to ensure an unstoppable Bundesliga title challenge for the 2011/12 campaign, and a total war chest of €60M has been mooted in Germany. 

And Bayern had begun to train their eyes on Huddlestone as a possible addition, but initial enquires revealed Spurs would be looking for a fee in excess of €20M – too rich for the Bavarian giants.
