Bayern Munich boss Louis van Gaal has denied reports that he could end up as Juventus coach next season. The Dutchman is leaving the German side at the end of the season and has been linked with a move to Turin.
Indeed, his wife was overheard at a restaurant commenting: "Maybe we go to Turin", which was instantly spread around the media – taken as confirmation that Van Gaal was negotiating to become Juventus’ next coach. But this he has denied.
"My wife is wrong and she knows I will have a rest for a year after I leave Bayern at the end of the season", said the Dutchman.
"The Juventus rumours are completely false."
