Reports from Italy suggest Lazio are ready to give striker Djibril Cisse an escape route from Panathinaikos.
The Frenchman has had an unhappy time in Athens this season and is keen to exit the Greens, providing he can find a suitable destination.
And Lazio could well be that destination as the Rome side look to beef up their attacking options for next season.
The 29-year-old moved to Greece in 2009 and wasted no time in becoming a prolific goal-getter in the country’s Super League. With 50 goals in just two seasons so far, Cisse has advertised his abilities well for a move and Lazio have taken notice.
