Tottenham Hotspur boss Harry Redknapp believes there is no pressure on his team to beat Real Madrid given that nobody expected the White Hart Lane outfit to make it this far in the Champions League.

Spurs’ run to the quarter-finals of the Champions League in their first season experiencing the showpiece event has surprised many, but nevertheless, Redknapp’s men are tipped to have more than a fighting chance against Jose Mourinho’s side.

"Of course, it will be a tough game against Real Madrid", said Redknapp. "We are going to have to play better than we did at Wigan [0-0 draw] if we are going to get the result we need there."

But Redknapp does not feel any pressure to put Real Madrid out, though he does believe they have a good chance of doing so.

"I don’t feel any pressure. No one expected us to be here at the start of the season and we have a big chance of winning.

"We are not coming here to just turn up. We want to keep progressing. The dream is still there for us, we have to make that dream come true."
