Galatasaray’s tricky forward Arda Turan looks set to play his football in Spain’s La Liga next season with both Atletico Madrid and Valencia keen on the 24-year-old.
Turan shot to prominence at Euro 2008 as part of a Turkey team which shocked the tournament with their never-say-die football. The young schemer was expected to leave Galatasaray after the tournament, but the Turkish side stood firm and Turan has remained in Istanbul ever since.
Now, with Galatasaray enduring a wretched league season and no European football on the horizon, Turan looks set to exit the club, with Spain looking his most likely destination.
And is it Atletico Madrid and Valencia that are leading the chase for the Turkish schemer, with both La Liga sides keen on snapping up the exciting forward from Galatasaray.
