AC Milan star Clarence Seedorf has confirmed that moving to Brazilian side Corinthians is a possibility. The Dutchman spoke out just a day after rumours linking him with Ronaldo’s former side leaked into the press.
"Corinthians are interested in signing me", Seedorf said to Brazilian TV channel Rede TV.
"I am in touch with the club officials and I am considering their potential offer. I like Brazil a lot."
Seedorf did stress though that any talks that have been held are at a very preliminary stage.
"These are just preliminary talks, nothing is official yet. I am focused on the current season and AC Milan."
Nevertheless, it would be a significant coup were Corinthians able to persuade one of European football’s top performers over the last decade to head over the Brazil.
