FC Porto coach Andre Villas Boas has refused to discuss the prospect of a switch away from the Portuguese giants following their 5-1 destruction of Russian side Spartak Moscow in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final.

The Portuguese champions are the favourites to lift the trophy, a feat which would see Villas Boas repeat the trick of his mentor Jose Mourinho. But, just as Mourinho, Villas Boas is now continually linked with a move away from Portugal – with Inter the latest side to be suggested.

"A future in Italy? I do not talk about my future", said Villas Boas, before adding, "even in this moment my future is Portugal."

The Portuguese boss then lent his support to current Inter coach Leonardo, saying the Serie A title race is not dead.

"Leonardo is an excellent coach and did well in the post [Rafael] Benitez era. Inter is not so far away from Milan in the league and anything can happen."
