Bayern Munich midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has declared his intention to end his career with either Zenit St. Petersburg or Shakhtar Donetsk. Both are clubs the Ukrainian has previously played for and each would no doubt be keen on his eventual return.
Tymoshchuk’s contract at the Allianz Arena expires in 2012 and the 32-year-old is not expected to pen a new deal, meaning next season should be his last at Bayern Munich.
"After my experience at Bayern is over, I would like to end my career with Zenit St. Petersburg or Shakhtar Donetsk", admitted the Ukrainian when questioned.
"I would be very happy if one of these possibilities became concrete, but now I have a contract and I can’t say much more about it."
