Serie A giants Juventus have been alerted to the fine performances of Peter Odemwingie for English club West Brom this season as they bid to add more firepower to their options for the 2011/12 campaign.

The Old Lady want to ensure that they qualify for the Champions League next season and return to Europe’s top table – and they are prepared for a big summer spending spree to do so.

And Odemwingie has come to the Turin side’s attention. The Nigerian only joined West Brom last summer, making the switch from Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow for the bargain fee of £1M.

Whether Odemwingie, who is 29, would be attracted by the chance to move to Juventus remains to be seen, but it could be the player’s last opportunity to move to a giant of European football.
