Giuseppe Rossi’s agent has admitted that despite the player being under a long-term contract with Villarreal, anything can happen in the summer transfer window.
The Italian forward was the subject of a failed €35M transfer bid from Tottenham Hotspur in January and has recently been linked with a switch to Barcelona.
Turin-based outfit Juventus are also monitoring proceedings and believe a move to Italy would be attractive to the player as a way to boost his chances of a starting spot in the Italian national team.
And according to the player’s agent Federico Pastorello, Rossi’s future is still up in the air.
"He has just extended his deal, but in the market everything can happen.
"He will move only for bids from top clubs."
