Valencia winger Juan Mata has declared he is happy at Los Che, playing down talk he could be set for a summer move to Manchester City.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to Eastlands and there are a limited number of teams that could afford the fee Valencia would be likely to demand for the Spanish international.
Questioned about rumours of his departure, Mata told Superdeporte: "All I can say is that I have a contract with Valencia, where I am very happy."
And the winger refused to be drawn into speculating on any future transfers, saying his focus was very much on the business-end of the league season still playing out.
"All I have to do now is concentrate on working and helping my team to take third place in La Liga."
