Barcelona boss Josep Guardiola has admitted that his team will not be at their physical peak when they travel to face Real Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final clash on Wednesday.
Guardiola also reflected on what the Blaugrana need to do in the wake of their comfortable 2-0 La Liga win over Osasuna last night.
"We won’t be going to Madrid in the best physical shape, but we’ll go there with a lot of enthusiasm", admitted the Barcelona boss, while also conceding Jose Mourinho’s side may now be favourites for the tie due to their Copa del Rey victory last week.
"We accept that Madrid may be favourites, they deserve it with their last few weeks’ performances, but we’ll try to change that."
And the Barcelona boss believes that his side must try to attack at the Bernabeu, warning that "in the Bernabeu we’ll have to be really focused and try to create chances to win the match because if we don’t they’ll overwhelm us."
