Olympiacos are pulling out all the stops to persuade Cesar Delgado to head to Greece. The 29-year-old Argentine currently turns out for Ligue 1 side Lyon, but is expected to be released at the end of the current season.
Delgado has fallen by the wayside with the French team this season, barely getting into double figures with appearances and being pushed out of the first team picture.
The winger cost Lyon €11M to buy from Mexican outfit Cruz Azul, but has not hit the heights expected. Whether Delgado will be keen to move to Greece remains to be seen, but his signature would represent something of a coup for Olympiacos.
