Olympiacos will face opposition for Lyon winger Cesar Delgado after La Liga pair Atletico Madrid and Malaga also entered the race.
The 29-year-old is expected to leave the Stade Gerland in the summer and has already been pinpointed as a main target for Olympiacos, with the Greek giants hoping a deal can quickly be done.
That though looks unlikely, with Atletico Madrid and Malaga looking at taking the Argentine to La Liga. It is likely Delgado would be interested in a move to Spain as the lack of a language barrier and the opportunity to play in arguably the world’s best league proves tempting.
