Diego Maradona is enthusiastic about the prospect of becoming San Lorenzo’s new coach.
It was revealed yesterday that the Argentine club have added the former national team coach to their list of candidates for the position, a position that is vacant after Ramon Diaz departed.
"It’s a great opportunity", said Maradona in a radio interview.
"We are reviewing the project and, it is down to the question of whether, as in football, we agree with the club."
Maradona is keen to return to coaching and San Lorenzo could prove to be the perfect route for the legendary figure to return to the game.
