Gokhan Inler’s agent has explained that his client will not move from Udinese simply for a bigger pay-packet. The midfielder is ambitious to better himself and would only consider leaving Udine for a club that can offer him Champions League football.
The tough-tackling Swiss international is set to be the subject of much interest this summer, with Juventus, Inter and Napoli all linked with a possible bid. There is also interest from several Russian sides, but with Inler determined not to let money dictate his next move, the chances of a switch east appear slim.
"If he leaves Udine he won’t do it for money", said the player’s agent Dino Lamberti.
"He wants to play in the Champions League and, as his agent and friend, I hope he will make it. At the moment there are many requests, especially from Russia, but as I said, he doesn’t care about money."
