Brazil and Villarreal striker Nilmar has revealed that to play for Barcelona at some point in the future would be a dream.
The 26-year-old striker has enjoyed a good campaign with the Yellow Submarine, but strike partner Giuseppe Rossi has grabbed the lion’s share of the headlines, and it is he who is tipped as a Barcelona target.
But Nilmar too would welcome the opportunity to test his skills at the Camp Nou.
"I intend to give everything and improve, so that one day I can wear the shirt of a big club like Barcelona", said the Brazilian to Don Balon magazine.
Nilmar had a poor spell in European football with Lyon between 2004 and 2006 before heading back to Brazil. He returned to Europe in 2009 with Villarreal and his second spell has been without doubt a success.
