Just days after winning the Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund, midfielder Nuri Sahin is already turning his attention to the question of his future. The Turkish international is hot property and is tipped to leave the Ruhr side this summer despite their championship win. And his destination looks likely to be Real Madrid.

Sahin has been linked with several sides including Arsenal, Chelsea and Bayern Munich. Yet Sahin and Dortmund have been clear that the player will only depart for one of La Liga’s two giants – Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Reports from Spain suggest it is Los Blancos who are in the driving seat, with Jose Mourinho having given his personal seal of approval to a deal for the 22-year-old.

Sahin himself admits that his future should be resolved soon, commenting: "We will make a decision, the club and me, by the weekend."
