Ezequiel Lavezzi won’t leave Napoli this summer according to his agent. The 26-year-old striker has been spoken of as a possible departure when the summer transfer window opens, but his agent Alejandro Mazzoni is adamant his client will remain at the southern Italian side.
"Ezequiel wants to play in the Champions League against [Lionel] Messi’s Barcelona, and he wants to do it with his actual team", said Mazzoni to Radio Kiss Kiss.
And despite much speculation that the forward is being lined up by a number of clubs, Mazzoni has denied fielding any concrete offers for his client and, even if he were to do so, the answer would be clear.
"Personally, I haven’t been contacted by anyone, and even if I was I wouldn’t have anything to say, as Lavezzi will certainly remain at Napoli."
