Former FC Porto striker Lisandro Lopez is backing his old side to triumph in the Europa League. The Portuguese side take a 5-1 first leg lead to Villarreal in their semi-final second leg today and are expected to book their spot in the final in Dublin.

And Lopez, who turned out for the Portuguese giants between 2005 and 2009 before moving to Lyon for €24M, feels confident that Porto can go all the way and pick up the trophy.

"FC Porto are the favourites for me, no doubt", said the Argentine.

"It’s a club that’s 100% professional and extremely organised. It gives players the best conditions to make them feel good and it deserves the place it occupies today."

Andre Villas Boas’ side have already won the Portuguese league title and would make their 2010/11 campaign a memorable one with a Europa League triumph too.
