Reigning European champions Inter are the latest side to join the chase for Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi. The Yellow Submarine hitman could end up being involved in the transfer saga of the summer, such is the amount of teams pondering a move for his services.

Rossi can count Barcelona, AC Milan, Napoli, Fiorentina, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Besiktas, Juventus and Galatasaray amongst his suitors and every one has been linked with a bid at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old has admitted that a move to Barcelona would appeal, but clubs from Italy hope that the prospect of Serie A football cementing a regular spot in the Azzurri’s starting line-up could be enough to convince the striker to move to the country.

Rossi’s asking price could well be as high as €35M, the price Tottenham were quoted for the striker in the January transfer window, however Villarreal could be forced to accept as little as €25M if the player makes it clear he wishes to leave.
