Fiorentina star Stevan Jovetic has confirmed that he is not looking to leave La Viola and sees his long-term future with the Serie A side.
The 21-year-old has suffered with a knee ligament injury which has kept him sidelined this season, but is hoping to make an impact in the 2011/12 campaign.
"I will definitely stay here and for many years to come", said the Montenegro international, adding, "and if they want to give me the captain’s armband it will be even better."
Jovetic was the subject of interest from Premier League side Liverpool last year, but will need to prove he has fully shaken off the effects of his knee injury before other sides once again start to plot a move for the forward.
