AC Milan have made a further payment to Ajax for left winger Urby Emanuelson. The Italian side had bought the Dutchman from the Amsterdam ArenA outfit in the January transfer window for €1.7M.

However, Ajax included a clause in the deal that required Milan to pay an extra €750,000 on the event that the Rossoneri secured the Serie A title – a feat they achieved last night with a 0-0 draw at Roma.

The 24-year-old has been involved in eight games with Milan since making the switch to Italy, the majority as a substitute. Emanuelson will be keen to make an impact at the San Siro next season and cement a spot in Massimilano Allegri’s starting line-up.
