Former Tottenham Hotspur boss Christian Gross has been appointed as the new coach of Swiss side Young Boys. The 56-year-old will assume control of the Bern-based club in the summer.
Gross was most recently in charge of Bundesliga outfit Stuttgart, but suffered a terrible start to the current season and could not recover the situation. In October the Germans decided to dispense with his services.
Gross has gained a reputation as a disciplinarian and enjoyed his greatest spell thus far in a ten-year stint with Basel, taking the job after losing his job as Tottenham Hotspur boss in 1998.
