Clarence Seedorf has confirmed one of football’s worst secrets – that he is a wanted man this summer.

The veteran Dutch midfielder has not yet penned a new deal with AC Milan after helping the club to win the Serie A title, but despite much interest he could still remain with the Rossoneri.

"I’ve received six offers in six months", said Seedorf when asked about his future, but taking care to add, "but I have not spoken to anyone out of respect for AC Milan."

One thing is clear, if the former Real Madrid midfielder does leave the San Siro, he will not have any shortage of options.

And even a switch to Brazil could be on the cards, with both Corinthians and Flamengo interested in taking Seedorf to South America.
