Mario Balotelli’s agent has confirmed that his client will not be returning to Italy this summer and sees his long-term future at Manchester City.

The young Italian striker moved to City last year from Inter and has had a troubled time at Eastlands, interspersed with some superb displays which bode well for his future in the game. It is widely agreed that if Balotelli can concentrate solely on his football, then the sky is the limit.

And he will have to do that at City for the foreseeable future according to super agent Mino Raiola.

"There’s no chance I could bring Mario back to AC Milan or Napoli at this time", said Raiola to Radio Kiss Kiss.

"He’s on a deal with City until June 2015 and I think he’s going to improve more and more here [at City] having won the FA Cup."

Balotelli can now look forward to a return to the Champions League with City next season and appears well placed to take his career in England to the next level.
