Roma’s new sporting director Walter Sabatini is ready to make a splash in the transfer market by bringing Argentine midfielder Ever Banega to the Italian capital.
The 22-year-old is thought to be open to a move away from current club Valencia providing his Spanish side can agree a fee with any interested party.
And Roma believe that Banega could slot perfectly into their midfield and is well suited to Serie A.
With money available from the takeover of Thomas DiBenedetto and a group of American investors, the Giallorossi are ready to bolster their squad this summer.
