Gervinho, the Lille forward believed to be a target for both Arsenal and Liverpool, has revealed that he has made his decision over whether to stay or leave the Ligue 1 club.
The Ivory Coast man has been a key figure in helping Lille to claim this year’s Ligue 1 title, only the third in their history, and the northern France side have been hopeful that the lure of Champions League football would convince the 23-year-old to remain at the club.
However, Gervinho has so far failed to sign a new contract with Lille and speculation over his future has been building, with the player said to prefer a switch to the Premier League.
But despite Gervinho now admitting he has made up his mind, exactly what he has decided remains unclear.
"Today I have made my decision", Gervinho told Nord Eclair.
"It’s a personal choice and it’s already in my head.
"Leaving or not, I have already talked about it with my executives and agents."
Should Gervinho decide the time as come for him to leave Lille, there is likely to be considerable interest in his services from other clubs outside the Premier League duo.
