Blackpool midfielder Charlie Adam remains keen to leave the relegated English side despite being offered a new 12-month contract at Bloomfield Road.
The Scottish star has impressed in this season’s Premier League and attracted bids from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window. However, Blackpool manager Ian Holloway was desperate to keep hold of the 25-year-old and offers on the table were snubbed.
Both could yet revive their interest in Adam this summer though, while Manchester United have also been linked with the player.
And for Adam, remaining in the Premier League next season is the priority and should see him leave Bloomfield Road.
"My future is that I want to play in the Premier League", explained the Scot.
"I want to play at the top and hopefully the opportunity comes.
"My future will get sorted. It’s not me who makes that decision."
Blackpool are likely to demand a fee of around £10M for Adam.
