Barcelona starlet Bojan Krkic, who was most recently targeted by English Premier League outfit Liverpool, has dismissed talk he could leave the Catalan club.

Despite not yet cementing a spot in Barcelona’s starting eleven and looking for all the world a rough diamond, Krkic does not want to exit the Camp Nou and is not scared of competition for places at the greatest club side in world football.

Asked about talk he could leave the Blaugrana this summer, Krkic replied to El Mundo Deportivo: "I can only laugh"

And the forward went on to confirm he will not push for a transfer.

"I will not push for a transfer, for someone else to achieve."

Indeed, Krkic sees his future at Barcelona and will not be scared away from the Camp Nou by a little competition.

"It is my aim to shine in the shirt of Barcelona.

"I want to achieve success and be a basis [of the team].

"I am still young and have much to prove, but I’m not afraid of a little competition."
