Juventus’ new coach Antonio Conte is confident that the Bianconeri’s management will present him with a vastly strengthened squad for the start of the new Serie A season.
Despite just bidding farewell to the 2010/11 campaign, Juventus’ thoughts instantly turned to the 2011/12 season, a year in which they intend to qualify for the Champions League.
Years outside Europe’s blue-ribbon event has concentrated minds in Turin, leading to the sacking of Luigi Delneri and appointment of former midfielder Conte.
And the man who led Siena to promotion from Serie B this season is sure the club’s board will look after him.
"Juve’s general manager Giuseppe Marotta is working day and night to plan our transfer market strategy", explained Conte.
"We know what to do to improve our squad and I have the utmost confidence in Marotta and his staff.
"The right players will be signed and I already made some suggestions."
