Barcelona could jump to the front of the queue in the race for Udinese winger Alexis Sanchez by offering Bojan Krkic as part of any deal.

Sanchez is in demand this summer and Udinese have admitted defeat in their bid to keep hold of him; now the southern Italian club have turned their attention to extracting the very highest price.

With Inter, Juventus, Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid all watching developments closely, Barcelona still feel confident that, all things being equal, the Chilean would opt for a move to the Camp Nou.

"It’s true what is written", admitted Udinese’s president Franco Soldati to Radio Sportiva.

"Everything depends on the bid and the players offered in the deal."

Barcelona continue to face serious opposition for Sanchez’ signature however, with their most serious rivals hailing from the English Premier League in the shape of Manchester United and Manchester City.

"There are English clubs interested", continued the president.

"Manchester City and Manchester United have followed him for some time. Then there’s Barcelona, who are currently the main rivals of Juventus."

What seems certain is that Sanchez will end up at one of Europe’s top clubs this summer, with the 22-year-old having impressed throughout the season with outstanding displays that helped Udinese secure fourth spot in Serie A.
