Wigan Athletic winger Charles N’Zogbia has issued a come-and-get-me plea to the biggest clubs in the game.

The Frenchman was a key figure in Wigan’s successful battle against relegation from the English Premier League last season, and his standout performances once again raised the question of why he is not within the ranks of a big club.

Now the former Newcastle United star has gone on the record as stating his readiness to move away from the DW Stadium – providing it is to a club that can help with his national team prospects.

"I have spent two fabulous years here [at Wigan], but the club knows that I am ready for the next big step", N’Zogbia told Sport France.

"The possibility to play for a more prestigious club could help me with the national team."

The 25-year-old, who has one senior France cap to his name, will surely not come cheap for any interested party. Wigan are thought to be looking for a fee of between £10-12M.
