Ruud Gullit’s time as Terek Grozny coach looks to be coming to an end unless the Dutchman can magic up a run of good form.
The former Chelsea manager was tasked with leading the Chechen side into Europe, but has struggled to adapt to Russian football and Terek have stumbled through the league campaign.
Terek currently boast just 12 points from their 12 Russian Premier League games, leaving the side third bottom – it is not good enough for the ambitious club.
Gullit has been criticised in Chechnya, with accusations that he is spending more time in nightclubs than on the training pitch trying to arrest his side’s slump.
The Dutchman is now expected to pick up at least seven points from Terek’s next three games, otherwise the curtain will fall on his brief spell.
Terek, who lost 4-2 at home to CSKA Moscow at the weekend, face Amkar Perm, Krylia Sovetov Samara and FK Krasnodar in their next three fixtures.
