Inter President Massimo Moratti has expressed his disappointment at Wesley Sneijder’s most recent comments regarding a possible summer move away from the San Siro.

Sneijder is a target for both Chelsea and Manchester United in the current transfer window, but had appeared to pour cold water on talk that he was angling for a switch, declaring Milan to be a beautiful city and not feeling a compulsion to leave.

However, the Dutch schemer went on to say just days later that "only God will decide where my future lies" and it is the reopening of transfer talk these comments have caused that has upset Moratti.

"I was sad to hear those comments", said Moratti when questioned about Sneijder’s latest comments.

The Inter supremo will not be drawn on discussing a possible switch for the Dutchman however, with Moratti keen to keep the former Real Madrid star at the Nerazzurri.

Under contract with Inter until 2015 however, the Serie A giants remain firmly in the driving seat over Sneijder, with any club having to pay a premium for the Dutchman.
