Kaka will not be returning to AC Milan this summer. That is the verdict of Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani.

The Brazilian playmaker has struggled to find himself at Real Madrid since making a big-money move in the summer of 2009. And while injuries have played their part, the midfielder has still struggled to impose himself when fit.

This has led to continuing talk that a return to Serie A, with former club Milan, may be a possibility.

But vice-president Galliani has moved quickly to pour cold water on that transfer talk, claiming that Kaka is simply paid too much for the Italians to stomach.

"100% he will not return to Milan", said Galliani when asked about Kaka, "because the problem is his salary."

With Jose Mourinho making the return of Kaka to top form something of a personal mission, and with Milan priced out of a swoop, a continued stay at the Bernabeu for the Brazilian looks on the cards.
