Juventus are prepared to going into the new Serie A campaign without as many as five players that featured in their first team squad last season.
The Bianconeri are ready to radically reshape their team as they bid to ensure a Champions League spot under Antonio Conte in 2011/12.
Those on the chopping block are strikers Amauri and Vincenzo Iaquinta and midfielders Felipe Melo and Mohamed Sissoko. Alberto Aquilani meanwhile looks unlikely to be brought back from Liverpool as Juventus will not pay the Reds’ asking price.
Amauri and Iaquinta should command attention, while Melo and Sissoko are also wanted by clubs outside Italy.
Juventus believe that if the four are sold then up to €23M could be brought into the club’s coffers. The Bianconeri have also saved €16M by not making Aquilani’s loan from Liverpool permanent.
