Giuseppe Rossi’s agent is disappointed with Barcelona and stated he does not believe his client will end up at the Camp Nou.

The Catalans have long been linked with Rossi, but have just €45M to spend this summer and are preparing to splash out as much as €30M on Udinese forward Alexis Sanchez. It is, believes the player’s agent Andrea Pastorello, a sign that Barcelona will not be able to afford Rossi.

And to Pastorello this means that Josep Guardiola’s side do not want his client enough.

"If Barcelona have a €45M budget and they spend €30M on Sanchez, it means that they won’t have enough money for Rossi", said Pastorello to COMEsports.

"Much better, if they prefer Sanchez it means that they don’t believe 100% in Giuseppe, and it is no good to play for a club that doesn’t believe in you."

Villarreal still hope to hang onto Rossi this summer, but Barcelona are not the only side tracking the Italian striker. Tottenham Hotspur too, who had a bid for the player rejected in the January transfer window, could yet return.
