Marseille have denied that they are willing to sell striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
There had been speculation that Gignac could exit the Stade Velodrome, but according to Marseille’s sporting director Jose Anigo, nothing could be further from the truth.
"We have no intention of selling Gignac", announced Anigo through the club’s official website.
"I have read about the interest of many European clubs, but we don’t know anything about it.
"We will keep Gignac and I hope he will continue to perform well for the team."
Marseille’s reluctance to part with the striker is understandable as the club seek to win back the Ligue 1 title from Lille next season.
