Brazilian right back Maicon wants to remain at Inter and is not angling for a move this summer his agent has explained.
Maicon was heavily linked with a switch to Real Madrid last year and the speculation over a possible transfer to the Bernabeu has once again begun to surface.
But according to Antonio Caliendo, the Brazil international is not looking to leave.
"Maicon wants to stay at the Nerazzurri", explained Caliendo to Sportitalia.
"Here he has a wonderful contract and president Massimo Moratti loves him, and he won’t let him go."
The 29-year-old therefore looks content to remain at the San Siro next season and will hope to play a big part in helping Inter win back the Serie A title.
