Michel Bastos could remain at Lyon next season according to the club’s president Jean-Michel Aulas.
The flying Brazilian full back has been a key target for Juventus this summer, while English club Liverpool have also been linked with a bid.
However, Aulas will only allow Bastos to leave Lyon if an acceptable offer arrives – and the Frenchman has revealed that he has yet to field a bid that he would deem good for the club.
"At the moment we’ve not received an offer that would allow us to let him go", explained Aulas.
"Batos could remain here."
Lyon are keen to reclaim the Ligue 1 title next season and hand new coach Remi Garde funds to strengthen the squad.
But whilst the departure of Bastos has often been taken for granted, Garde could receive a boost if the player does remain for the 2011/12 campaign.
