PSV Eindhoven have announced the capture of FC Utrecht duo Dries Mertens and Kevin Strootman.
The Dutch giants have paid their Eredivisie rivals €13M for the pair and will hope the duo can aid their bid to win the title next season.
Strootman is a highly rated midfielder who has only recently broken through to the senior Holland team. Mertens on the other hand is a Belgian international winger and has surely been marked as a replacement for the now departed Balazs Dzsudzsak.
Both players have signed five-year deals with PSV as the Dutch club look to push on from last season’s third place finish.
