Carlos Tevez has publicly declared his intention to leave Manchester City this summer.
Tevez is desperately missing his two daughters who live with their mother in Argentina.
"I need to be closer to them and to spend more time with them", the 27-year-old said in a statement released late last night.
"Living without my children in Manchester has been incredibly challenging for me. Everything I do, I do for my daughters.
"I need them to be happy because my life is about them now. I need to be in a place where they can adapt.
"I hope that people understand the difficult circumstances I have been living under the past 12 months, in regards to my family."
Tevez had handed in a transfer request in December 2010, but later withdrew this after talks with City. However, it appears the Argentine’s situation has not changed and a battle will now begin for his signature.
