Liverpool, Fulham and Valencia are set to be disappointed in their pursuit of Jeffren.
The striker had appeared ready to head to the exit door at the Camp Nou and was linked with a move to Udinese as part of the deal to take Alexis Sanchez to Barcelona.
However the 23-year-old has never been keen on leaving Catalunya and held talks with Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta yesterday in the presence of his father, who also acts as his agent.
And the outcome of the meeting is that the striker will remain at the Camp Nou next season before his situation is assessed again in the summer of 2012.
Jeffren’s meeting will surely cause the Blaugrana to reject the €8M bid on the table from English outfit Fulham, while Liverpool and Valencia may turn their attention elsewhere if the duo see the striker’s heart is not in a move.
