John Arne Riise could be heading back to the Premier League this summer, with Fulham an option.

Riise currently turns out for Roma in Serie A, but has just one year left on his current deal with the Serie A club, who have indicated they will listen to offers for the 30-year-old.

The Norwegian left back enjoyed an extended spell in the Premier League with Liverpool between 2001 and 2008, before leaving for the Giallorossi. Rarely injured, Riise has already made over 100 appearances for the Serie A club.

And Riise has come to Fulham’s attention, with the London side’s boss Martin Jol thought to be very keen on bringing the Norwegian back to the Premier League.

Riise would provide the Cottagers with tireless effort down the left flank combined with a thunderbolt shot.

Therefore a return to the Premier League would not be a surprise – the defender’s stock remains high in England.
