Goran Pandev has turned down an opportunity to head to Genoa as part of Inter’s swoop for forward Rodrigo Palacio.

The Nerazzurri had sounded the Macedonian schemer out about the possibility of a move to the Rossoblu as part of the deal, but Pandev has remained adamant that he will not move to Genoa.

The 27-year-old had a mixed campaign last season, at times struggling to justify his spot at the then-European Champions.

However, the former Lazio man vowed to show his best in an Inter shirt, telling the club’s fans they had not seen his best.

And this is something Pandev looks determined to do in the 2011/12 season.
