Argentine midfielder Erik Lamela appears to be heading to join Serie A side Roma.
The 19-year-old recently suffered the pain of relegation from Argentina’s top flight with River Plate and it is little surprise to see moves to sell the starlet.
And Roma looks like Lamela’s destination after the a source at River Plate claimed the deal is 80% complete.
"The transfer is about 80% done and I think there will be no problem in reaching a final agreement", a source was quoted as telling Argentine newspaper Clarin.
Roma are expected to pay €12M for Lamela, with a further 20% of the player’s next transfer fee also due to River Plate.
