Tottenham Hotspur, Juventus and Inter are all on alert after talk intensified that Real Madrid are keen to cash in on Lassana Diarra.

Jose Mourinho’s side splashed out €30M on Fabio Coentrao two days ago, snapping up the Portuguese full back from Benfica. However, Los Blancos paid more than they had believed they would need to for the 23-year-old.

And this has left the Spanish giants considering how to recoup some of their outlay, with AS reporting that Diarra is at the top of Madrid’s list to ship out of the Bernabeu.

The French midfielder is attracting attention from English side Tottenham Hotspur and Italian duo Inter and Juventus, with Real Madrid having put a €20M price tag on his head.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp believes Diarra could add real bite to his midfield and remains a big fan of the former Portsmouth and Chelsea man. Inter and Juventus meanwhile are convinced the 26-year-old would be a force in Serie A and will push for a deal to be completed.

Diarra though is in no rush to leave the Bernabeu.

The Frenchman has declared his contentment at Real Madrid, although he could be further pushed out of the first team picture next season with the arrival of Nuri Sahin and Hamit Altintop.

Real Madrid would like to complete Diarra’s sale before the squad head to the United States for their summer training camp and to compete in the World Football Challenge.
