Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala are keen on Bayern Munich’s tough-tackling midfielder Anatoily Tymoschuk, but face a wait to find out whether the Ukrainian is in new boss Jupp Heynckes’ plans.
Tymoschuk had found playing time hard to come by at the Allianz Arena under former Bayern coach Louis van Gaal, but his situation could change under Heynckes.
And if the Ukrainian were to feature more often, then he could postpone his planned departure from Munich, possibly waiting until at least the January transfer window.
Anzhi Makhachkala however are keen to push for a deal this summer and, had Van Gaal remained in charge, Tymoschuk would surely have been open to the prospect.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder is ready to move back eastwards, but only if he feels the door has been well and truly closed by Bayern.
