Despite an agreement between Barcelona and Jeffren that the striker could remain at the Camp Nou for next season, a switch to another side is still a possibility.
The decision will be Jeffren’s and Jeffren’s alone and to this end any thoughts of moving to a club outside La Liga have already been ruled out.
Off the agenda too is a transfer to Valencia.
And this leaves just two options for Jeffren if the striker were to decide to opt for regular first team football away from the Blaugrana next season.
The two sides in question are Atletico Madrid and Sevilla, both of which would welcome the arrival of the hitman.
